* ** DUTIES*
* Teach individual in-person and online voice lessons for approximately 5-10 hours per week
Teach voice students with the highest level of excellence
Prepare students for college auditions, competitions, festivals etc.
Prepare students for ECMS recitals, juries, and auditions
Communicate effectively, and in a timely manner with ECMS Dean and Director, Department Chair, colleagues, and ECMS staff
Attend full faculty and departmental meetings
Adjudicate annual Voice Department exams and juries
** Other duties may include** :
Teach Voice for Adults Class
** Qualifications*
* ** REQUIREMENTS*
* Proven record as an outstanding teacher and performer
Expertise in starting new students and teaching children through adults
MM or DMA degree preferred
Strong desire to recruit students and grow the ECMS voice studio
Involvement in national professional organizations
Additional areas of expertise or interest:
Online teaching, Choral Conducting, Administrative skills
