Position
Special Education - EBD/LD Teacher (1.0 FTE) for the School Year.

Work CalendarWork days can be reviewed through the district’s calendar. The REA Calendar is available for reference.
SalaryProrated based upon hire date. Salary is determined by level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience. The REA Contract contains the salary schedule.
Qualifications- Current Minnesota PELSB license in an appropriate area, preferably and/or required for Grade K-12, Emotional Behavior Disorders and Learning Disabilities, or Academic Behavior Strategist.
- RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.
- Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
- Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
- Working knowledge of subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, and students’ learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
