Make a Difference! Become a Local Coordinator for High School Exchange Students

Education Travel & Culture (ETC) is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization that offers inbound and outbound cultural exchange programs. We provide high‑school students worldwide the opportunity to study in an American high school and live with a local family, as well as give American students the chance to study abroad.

• Self‑motivated

• Identify, recruit, and screen qualified host families.
• Establish and nurture relationships with potential host families, school administrators, and community influencers.
• Engage in person with exchange students, host families, and local high schools, including monthly meetings, group student activities, and periodic orientations.
• Represent and promote ETC in the community through social media, email marketing, press releases, local media, and other avenues.

• Independent contractor position, family‑friendly, flexible, 10–20 hours/month; much work can be done from home.
• Annual performance‑based incentive trips, including international travel.
• Potential for growth into a management position.
• Opportunity to learn about new cultures while working with high‑school exchange students and their host families.
• Mentor and support exchange students and volunteer families throughout the year, providing meaningful fulfillment.

Up to $1,700 per full‑year student (including placement and oversight), with bonuses and travel incentives. As an independent contractor, earnings are based on successful host family recruitment and student support. The compensation can exceed the stated range as there is no hard limit.

• Must live within 75 miles of the listed city.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive for in‑person visits.
