SalaryEmployee's contracted hourly rate or minimum of $23.25 (Intensive) per hour, or $22.25 (Specialized) per hour.
Other InformationMultiple positions available.
We believe that all students can learn and that motivating students is an essential part of teaching. Students in these programs are invited to participate because they are at risk of not meeting proficiency.
Qualifications- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with behavior management strategies.
- Data collection.
- Flexible and the ability to work as a cooperative team member.
- Good organizational skills.
- Regular, on-time attendance is required.
- Willing to be trained in crises prevention techniques and physical intervention.
- Positive rapport with children including the ability to correct inappropriate student behavior with fairness and consistency.
- Previous experience in the extended school year program preferred.
- Most ESY programs involve some bending and lifting.
- If you are not available to work the entire ESY session, you will be responsible for securing a substitute for the days you are absent.
