Position

Full-time, 0.9 FTE, Medical Careers Teacher position available for the  school year.

CTECH (.6 FTE) and PTECH (.3 FTE).

Prorated based upon hire date, based on level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience. Salary schedule can be reviewed in REA Contract .

Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area preferred and/or required:
Medical Careers. RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level.

• Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable and language instruction.
• Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
• Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
