Position Title Football Assistant Coach/Defensive Backs Overview

St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students each year. Job Responsibilities

Football Coaching & Education

* Position meetings for defensive backs

* Individual & small group coaching sessions and film sessions

* Game day meetings, coaching, post-game debrief

Education / Experience

Required:

* Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

* Intercollegiate playing experience

* Collegiate coaching experience preferred.

Competencies / Skills

Ability to demonstrate football related skills, interpersonal skills between students, staff, alumni and friends of the University.

Physical Demands

Must be able to demonstrate football related techniques. The job entails normal sitting, standing and walking throughout the course of the day.

Supervision of Employees Work Environment

Well lighted, well-ventilated pleasant work area. Work with students and accompany team when traveling.

Equipment to be Used

Must be able to be proficient in word, excel and able to learn other sport related computer programs. Equipment related to sport.

Job Type Part-time Work Hours

Schedule varies depending on if in-season or out-of-season. The ability to work nights and weekends required to support practices and games.
