* ENGL 131 - Reporting and Writing the News

Tues/Thurs 4:50-6:05pm

The responsibilities of this appointment will be to prepare for and teach ENGL 131 in the Department of English in Fall 2026 (classes run from August 31
- December 14, 2026). Your additional duties include two hours of office hours/advising per week in connection with this course, as well as the grading of course assignments and tests.

** Qualifications*
* Requires MFA or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong preference given to those with active or prior teaching experience with program/department

Strong preference given to those currently active or practicing in the field of Journalism.
