SANY’s Citizenship and Science Academy of Rochester (Grades K-6) is excited to announce the opening of a Physical Education (PE) Teacher role for the academic year. We are looking for dynamic and creative teachers. New York State Certification Required.
Responsibilities- Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum.
- Collaborate with staff to determine charter requirements for instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy.
- Appreciate regular feedback, accountability, and the rewards that come with doing a great job serving our students and communities.

- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Certification required.
- Experience with diverse populations of students or in an urban setting is a plus.
- Prior teaching experience preferred and novice teachers encouraged to apply.
- Fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education.
