Multiple Adjunct Positions - Mathematical & Computing Sciences
The Mathematical and Computing Sciences Department n Fisher College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors. Applicants should be enthusiastic about teaching undergraduates, willing to work with curriculum developed by the department, and generate excitement among students for the content of the material.
Positions will be filled on an ongoing, as-needed basis to enhance our course offerings. Compensation is provided on a per-course basis at rates set by the college. Adjunct instructors will also have access to college facilities, be provided with instructional supplies, and be invited to department functions. Evening course assignments are sometimes available.
Qualifications include:
Holding a Master's degree, significant experience, knowledge, and skill in one or more of these areas:
Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity. For certain courses, successful applicants may be expected to have expertise with particular software, such as R, Excel, or Access.
Extended periods of sitting during lectures, meetings, and office hours; occasional standing while teaching or presenting. Moving between classrooms, offices, and campus facilities. Clear verbal communication for lectures and discussions; ability to hear student questions and engage in dialogue. Reading printed and digital materials, grading papers, and preparing presentations. Typing on a computer, handling books, and using teaching tools or lab equipment (if applicable).

Salary / Hourly Range - $1,600 per credit. Fisher courses are typically 3 credits, equaling $4,800 per course.
