• Demonstrate knowledge of pedagogy and instructional techniques across a variety of visual arts mediums.
• Knowledge of NYS Visual Arts Learning Standards.
• Knowledge of digital media and NYS Media Arts Learning Standards.

• Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with GCSD Visual Arts Curriculum and NYS Learning Standards, using diverse teaching methods to cater to varied learning styles and needs.
• Teach a variety of visual arts mediums, including digital media.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where all students feel supported, valued, and appropriately challenged.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and evidence-based interventions as needed.
• Maintain clear, effective communication with students, families, administrators, and colleagues regarding academic progress and growth areas.
• Participate in district and community student art shows
• Stay current with best practices in visual arts education and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
