Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain cost‑effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
  • Perform engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systems.
  • Use a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performance.
  • Create test strategies and specifications for new and revised assemblies.
  • Prepare test and diagnostic software, design test fixtures, and complete test procedures for new and existing products.
  • Develop, debug, and optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand.
  • Document test hardware and software using computer‑based tools.
  • Instruct technicians in the completion of test requirements.
  • Ensure production goals and metrics are met from a test perspective.
Essential Functions
  • Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and Test Stand.
  • Support delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.
  • Fixture, cable, and PCB design for automated manufacturing test fixtures.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, openness to new ideas, and willingness to learn new tools.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience in digital, analog, and RF circuitry design and troubleshooting.
  • Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters.
  • Understanding of software‑defined radio products and communications.
  • Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; working knowledge of fundamentals of In‑Circuit Test (ICT), functional board‑level testing, unit and system level testing, and coverage analysis.
  • Must be a self‑starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision.
  • NI LabVIEW/Test Stand development experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $79,000–$146,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; the final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location. L3
