FPGA/Electrical Design EngineerPosition Summary
Join a high-impact engineering team building next-generation imaging and scanning products used worldwide. We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer experienced with FPGA development and PCB design who enjoys solving complex design challenges and collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams. This role provides full-cycle ownership of Electrical development from architecture and RTL implementation to verification and system integration.
- Own and maintain existing FPGA designs, RTL codebases, and simulation environments.
- Develop new IP blocks, interfaces, and test benches for imaging and motion-control systems.
- Drive timing closure using Vivado (XDC), static timing analysis, CDC checks, and throughput modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and optimize system-level tradeoffs.
- Debug FPGA functionality using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related tools.
- Document interfaces, architecture, design decisions, and verification plans.
- Participate in peer reviews and enhance development processes.
- Support electrical engineering tasks including schematic reviews, EMC considerations, and product architecture.
- Strong experience designing RTL and test benches in VHDL or Verilog/System Verilog.
- Part selection, Schematic entry, Analog, and Digital design for new products
- Hands‑on experience with Xilinx Vivado (synthesis, implementation, timing closure, debug).
- Experience with simulation tools such as Riviera‑PRO.
- Proficiency with XDC constraints, CDC analysis, and static timing analysis.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git or Perforce.
- Experience with PCIe, DDR3/DDR4, SPI, I²C, or USB.
- Knowledge of imaging/image pipelines, JPEG, or real-time signal processing.
- Scripting and automation experience (Python, TCL, shell scripting, C/C++).
- Familiarity with Xilinx IP Integrator and AXI-based systems.
- Experience developing cost-optimized FPGA solutions for high-volume products.
Education & Experience- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS preferred).
- 5+ years of FPGA development experience with Xilinx/AMD architectures.

Compensation: $115,000 -$160,000 – Based on Experience
