Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site position for a Product Development Engineer located in Rochester, NY. The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving products and systems, focusing on mechanical engineering aspects. Daily tasks involve conducting research and development (R&D), collaborating with cross‑functional teams, analyzing data to improve product performance, and innovating solutions to align with business objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Product Development and Product Design to create efficient and high‑performing solutions
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and a solid understanding of engineering principles
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate designs, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) with the ability to develop innovative technologies
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field
- Industry certifications or experience with relevant design and simulation software are a plus
