Job Description & How to Apply Below
Background:

A mid size Semiconductor company is seeking a hands-on Metrology Engineer with deep expertise in Rudolph and MetaPULSE metrology systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in tool setup, calibration, and optimization who can also support and train engineers across the team in the long-term use and understanding of metrology processes.

Project:

Lead the setup, configuration, and operational optimization of two key metrology systems:
Rudolph and MetaPULSE. Perform tool updates, calibrations, troubleshooting, and regular system health checks to ensure maximum uptime and data accuracy. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of both metrology platforms, from baseline installation through production-grade readiness. Collaborate with process, integration, and equipment engineers to ensure proper data correlation and metrology alignment. Serve as the technical SME for Rudolph and MetaPULSE tools-documenting procedures, maintaining logs, and creating SOPs.

Train and support fellow engineers and technicians in correct usage, maintenance, and interpretation of measurement data. Assist in standard metrology engineering tasks including measurement recipe development, gage R&R, tool matching, and statistical process control (SPC) analysis.

Required Skills:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of direct experience in a semiconductor metrology role.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Rudolph and MetaPULSE systems - capable of setting up, tuning, and troubleshooting without external support.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor metrology principles, film thickness measurement, reflectometry, and acoustic/optical analysis.
  • Familiar with cleanroom protocols, data logging, and process optimization methodologies.
