Job SummaryWe are seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team in Rochester, New York.
Responsibilities- Structural design and analysis for a wide range of building projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
- Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
- Coordinate with staff and clients on projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
- P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
- 3–6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional building projects as a Structural Engineer.
- Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM).
- Working knowledge of REVIT.

- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
- Pay equity: base compensation range of $70,000–$100,000 annually for this position and local market.
