Project Structural Engineer, Buildings

We are seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team in Rochester, New York.

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of building projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with staff and clients on projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
• 3–6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional building projects as a Structural Engineer.
• Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM).
• Working knowledge of REVIT.

• Pay equity: base compensation range of $70,000–$100,000 annually for this position and local market.
