Job Title: Senior Lead Consultant – air quality compliance & permitting

As our new Senior Lead Consultant with air quality compliance & permitting consulting experience, you will be part of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division. This group focuses on air quality and other environmental regulatory compliance, assisting Ramboll’s clients with regulatory challenges. Services include preparing air permit applications, emissions estimation, air compliance reporting, air dispersion modeling, and other regulatory topics.

• Reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations with focus on air compliance; interact with clients and regulatory agencies as needed
• Support client relationships and lead and prepare deliverables to meet client needs efficiently
• Prepare air emission estimates and perform calculations for air pollution sources; support and/or perform air dispersion modeling
• Prepare various levels of air quality permit applications and environmental reports; complete EPCRA Tier II and TRI Reporting
• Other environmental regulatory compliance tasks as applicable

About you

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or a science discipline (air quality coursework is a plus)
• 7+ years of air quality related experience
• Strong computing skills including high proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to understand, interpret, and apply environmental regulations to real-world applications

At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $97,204 - $121,505 per year. Actual compensation varies by location, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role may be eligible for bonus or other forms of compensation, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
