Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and redline Fiber network infrastructure routes for new communities using 3
GIS Fiber Management Tool and GoNetspeed standards. - Create splice packages for construction and repairs using 3
GIS. - Coordinate and communicate with other departments and contractors such as pole permit contractors and fiber construction teams.
- Assist in engineering, financial planning, and documentation of network builds, including budgets.
- Track make‑ready bills and applications.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Experience with splicing procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of outside plant construction.
- Proven planning and organization skills in a dynamic, high‑growth work environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry related to project design and outside plant engineering.
Compensation$33 - $36 an hour
