Plumbing Design Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - $95,000 per year.

• Draft plumbing construction drawings including details, plans, and sections
• Perform plumbing-related calculations
• Design plumbing systems for various building types
• Select appropriate plumbing equipment
• Coordinate with other engineering and architectural trades during design
• Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
• Participate in developing details, equipment schedules, and specifications
• Research and assess building performance and other regulations
• Contribute to design discussions and carry design concepts through to project drawings
• Contribute to sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer-Aided Drafting
• Minimum 8 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
• Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff
• PE license not required but a plus
• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required
