Location: Brinkman Products, Inc.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $70,000 to $95,000/yr. based on experience
About UsBrinkman Products, Inc. is an industrial goods manufacturing company encompassing two lines of business;
Davenport Machine and CJ Winter. Both manufacture proprietary product lines which include Davenport multi‑spindle screw machines, thread rolling attachments, thread rolls, and tooling.
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer with Internal Sales experience to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a candidate who understands both engineering principles and customer‑focused sales support within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical sales support to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Review customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and technical inquiries.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while supporting new business opportunities.
- Track orders, follow up on quotes, and support overall sales growth.
- Ensure timely communication and excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in internal sales, technical sales, applications engineering, or customer support preferred.
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
