Mission Hires is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong Analog and Digital design expertise to support critical component shortages, sustain continuous manufacturing, and contribute to new business initiatives for tactical radio products and accessories. You will collaborate closely with design engineering and operations to architect, develop, test, and integrate complex, high‑performance digital hardware systems while rapidly resolving production‑impacting issues.
Responsibilities- Architect, design, develop, modify, evaluate, and integrate electronic equipment, parts, components, and integrated circuitry for complex, high‑performance digital hardware systems
- Prioritize tasks and issues based on technical challenge and revenue impact to sustain continuous manufacturing
- Drive product development from component selection through change orders and factory implementation
- Analyze electrical requirements and determine feasibility within time and cost constraints
- Perform hands‑on testing using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators to establish operating data, run experiments, and evaluate results
- Apply specialized skills including digital, analog, FPGA, DSP, CCA, power, antenna, and control systems as needed
- Provide timely, thorough responses to production issues affecting JROC focus factories, including on‑floor support and problem solving
- Support initial bring‑up and testing of prototype hardware
- Collaborate with manufacturers on part selection and component sourcing
- Contribute to new business opportunities with technical assessments and program support
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or a Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Proven experience designing state‑of‑the‑art analog and digital electronic circuits, including schematic capture and layout knowledge
- Hands‑on experience with analog and digital design, tuning, analysis, verification testing, power savings analysis, and optimization
- Experience utilizing signal processing algorithms in FPGAs and software
- Demonstrated ability with part selection and interfacing with manufacturers
- Proficiency with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators
- Ability to assess feasibility against time and cost constraints and prioritize based on technical and revenue impact
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Electrical Engineering - Preferred:
Exposure to ASICs, PLLs, DACs, amplifiers, and power supplies - Preferred:
Experience testing and supporting initial bring‑up of prototype hardware
