JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute advanced technical expertise to the design and development of electrical systems for industrial automation projects. This role involves creating detailed schematics, programming PLCs and HMIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automated solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in electrical engineering, hands-on experience in automation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Design electrical systems for automated equipment including robotics, conveyors, and material handling systems.
• Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts in accordance with company and customer standards.
• Perform engineering calculations and component selection based on project specifications and industry standards (e.g., NFPA 79, RIA
  15.06).
• Specify and layout enclosures, backplanes, and cable routing diagrams.
• Generate bills of materials and support procurement with part specifications and vendor coordination.
• Configure and debug PLC and HMI programs using platforms such as Rockwell Studio 5000 and Factory Talk.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and controls teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Participate in risk assessments and support troubleshooting during build, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Document system operation and contribute to technical documentation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and automation trends.
• Support junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation and electrical system design.
• Strong understanding of automation hardware and software platforms.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is $100,. The rate range provided is a general guideline.
