HVAC Designer

Join our multi-disciplinary design team as an HVAC Designer, contributing to impactful commercial, residential, and institutional projects with competitive pay.

Salary: $60,000 - $95,000 per year.

• Draft HVAC construction drawings including details, plans, and sections.
• Perform HVAC load and energy calculations.
• Design HVAC systems and select appropriate equipment.
• Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with other engineering and architectural trades during design.
• Participate in developing details, equipment schedules, and specifications.
• Research and assess building performance, codes, and regulations.
• Contribute to design discussions and carry concepts through to project drawings.
• Support sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm.
• Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff.
• Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required.
• PE license not required but a plus.
