Location: City of Rochester
Electrical Engineering Manager (FPGA / Digital Design)
Rochester, NY (Relocation Available). U.S. Citizenship Required. Clearance Eligible. Flexible Schedule (9/80 or 5/8).
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of FPGA/firmware engineers.
- Drive execution across design, verification, and delivery milestones.
- Own project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Partner cross-functionally with hardware, software, and systems teams.
- Elevate and refine FPGA development processes and standards.
- 8+ years of experience in FPGA / embedded firmware development.
- Proven leadership managing technical teams and project delivery.
- Strong experience with:
- VHDL and/or Verilog
- System Verilog and verification methodologies (UVM/OVM)
- Background in wireless communications, signal processing, or secure systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Experience with cryptographic or secure communication systems.
- Exposure to RF or tactical communication environments.
