ResponsibilitiesUnder limited supervision, the purpose of this position is to provide leadership and guidance for the District’s Cooperative Agreement Program which will include planning, management and development for Cooperative Agreement projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and fostering relationships, ensuring collaboration and trusting experiences within MnDOT with local agencies of government.
- Consistency and transparency in the selection, design, processing, and construction of projects in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local requirements.
- Provide project management direction from inception to completion of projects; to be the primary project contact for other public agencies and the general public, ensuring proper program execution and compliance with MnDOT, state and federal procedures, practices, regulations, and standards.
- This position leads development of layouts within District 6 and serves as a technical expert for program delivery final design activities, independent quality assurance reviews for all District 6 projects, and development of post construction lessons learned district reports.
- This position is also a member of statewide and district technical committees providing final design expertise for projects, policies, and process improvements.
