Substation Physical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Substation Physical Engineer from 0 to 5 years of experience.

Duties

* Assist with create/modify detailed design for Substation:

* Control building (relay panels, facilities, cable raceways, trays, etc.)

* Busbar and strain bus

* Equipment & support structures

* Assembly drawings

* Cables and connectors

* Lightning protection and lighting

* Grounding grid

* Conduit and tranches

* Perform basic calculations such as:

* Grounding

* Lighting and lightning

* Cable ampacity

* Tray sizing

* Trench sizing

* Conduit sizing

* Assist project manager to develop scope of work and conceptual design for the projects;

* Communicate and coordinate project activities with project manager, client, and others as needed;

* Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of one's work;
