Molding Process Engineer

Shift: Day Shift; occasional off shift/weekend support

Position Summary

We are looking for a Molding Process Engineer with strong experience in Injection Molding, Extrusion Blow Molding, and Injection Blow Molding. This role will focus on quality investigations, CAPA, process improvement, and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigations for customer complaints, NCRs, deviations, and quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, SPC, and statistical analysis.
• Lead and support CAPA, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks.
• Develop and maintain stable and capable molding processes.
• Support Injection Molding, Extrusion Blow Molding, and Injection Blow Molding processes.
• Troubleshoot molding, tooling, and equipment issues on the production floor.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation and revalidation for molds, equipment, materials, and process changes.
• Create and maintain process specifications, setup sheets, control plans, and work instructions.
• Drive defect reduction, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Tooling, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Chemical, or Plastics preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in an ISO-regulated environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Injection Molding, Extrusion Blow Molding, and Injection Blow Molding.
• Experience with quality investigations, CAPA, SPC, process capability, and QMS.
• Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and root cause analysis skills.

• Experience working with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
