Field Services Engineer

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a background in industrial electrical equipment, troubleshooting, and customer support?

role offers the opportunity to work directly with customers, solve complex technical challenges, and support critical power generation, transmission, and monitoring systems across North America.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll serve as a trusted technical expert responsible for:

• Providing technical support via phone, email, video conference, and on-site visits
• Installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating power monitoring and metering equipment
• Diagnosing customer-reported issues and collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to develop solutions
• Conducting customer training and creating technical training materials
• Generating field service reports and RMA analyses
• Supporting sales teams with technical demonstrations, presentations, and product expertise
• Assisting with spare parts, upgrades, service quotations, and technical documentation

• Associate's Degree in Electronics or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and servicing industrial electrical equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Knowledge of industrial communications and networking protocols, including:
  • Ethernet
  • RS-232
  • RS-485
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis
• Experience configuring PC hardware and software for serial and Ethernet communications
