Non-Destructive Evaluation Technician
Required
Skills & Experience:
1-3 years of NDE/NDT experience (Non-Destructive Evaluation/Non-Destructive Technician).
- Composite material inspection experience, specifically Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Boron, Inconel, Titanium, and Invar
- Any of the following qualification/certifications: NAS
410, SNT-TC-1A, ASNT CP-189, ISO 9712, or EN 4179 - Ultrasonic testing equipment experience such as Olympus
- Nice to Have
Skills & Experience:
Experience with Eddy Current, and/or X-ray testing (RT) - Knowledge on honeycomb structures and bonded assemblies inspections
- Bachelor's in mechanical/electrical engineering or any related field
Job Description:
A client in the defense industry is looking for a Non-Destructive Evaluation Technician that will be performing inspections on materials and components using ultrasonic testing techniques. This role is responsible for identifying defects, discontinuities, and quality concerns without damaging the material being inspected. Most of the materials they will be working on are composite bonding carbon fiber, kevlar, boron, inconel, titanium and invar.
