A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Reliability Engineering Co-op at MKS Power Solutions, you will partner with various Reliability and New Product Introduction teams to support engineering activities. In this role, you will report to the Director, Reliability Engineering.
3-month intern/co-op within a functional area of MKS Inc. that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

Co-op Term:
This is a 3-month internship/co-op beginning in January 2027.
Working with Reliability Engineering staff in the design efforts of state-of-art power supplies supporting semiconductor manufacturing industries.
Solving Reliability problems. Researching new technologies. Performing failure analysis of components and PCB subassemblies. Analyzing design parameters and subsequent components stresses for overall system reliability.
Characterizing components for electrical performance and against published specifications.
Designing and constructing fixtures for reliability testing.
Travel Requirements:
None.
Enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant majors
Must have working knowledge and understanding of electronics and semiconductor devices, including analog and digital circuits
Experience reading circuit schematics and datasheets
Hands on experience with circuit boards and soldering techniques
Demonstrated familiarity with electrical engineering laboratory instruments, such as Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Network Analyzers
Ability to work on tasks effectively, independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience problem solving through engineering methods and techniques
Qualified candidates should be US Persons
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
