The
Facilities Manager
is responsible fordeliveringan exceptional environment for all staff to work in. This individualis responsible forday-to-day management, maintenance, and overall functionality of all three
We The Hobbyfacilities . This is a hands-on, multi-site position requiring regular travel between locations and serving as the primary point ofcontact for facility-related needs.
- General building maintenance and minor repairs
- Take an active, hands-on role inmaintainingthe cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of allWe The Hobbyfacilities .
- Support periodic deep-cleaning and facility reset projects, including cleaning following installations, construction, repairs, events, or workspace changes.
- Troubleshoot facilities issues
- Coordinating with outside contractors and service vendors
- Managing waste and recycling services
- Build/install of shelving space, workstations, and fixtures
- Coordinating equipment installation
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Manage and track facility issues/projects
Manage waste, recycling, dumpster, and other recurring facility services. - Travel between multiple site locations

Qualifications- 1–3 years of experience ina facilities or facilities management role.
- Experience with general maintenance, basic carpentry, minor plumbing/electrical work is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly, and confident presence. - Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortablecommunicatingacross multiple platforms, including email, chat, live messaging, and customer support systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment and the ability to de-escalate customer concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Flexible schedule– on call availability may occasionallyberequiredbut rare
- Growth mindset with the ability to receive coaching and adapt to changing business needs.
