Financial Manager, Corporate Finance, Accounting Manager
Position.The position of Corporate Controller will oversee the accounting team and have responsibility for the financial close and reporting process.
This role will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and will partner with operational departments to meet company goals and objectives.
- Leading the monthly and yearly financial close process
- Supervising the creation and accuracy of financial documents, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Monitoring actuals versus budget
- Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
- Reporting KPIs and financial reports to senior management
- Overseeing the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns and remaining informed about tax laws
- Serving as the direct supervisor for the team responsible for the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable process
- Ensuring full compliance with federal and state reporting requirements and accounting policies such as GAAP
- Oversee payroll and benefits functions and support updates to the process
- Devising and implementing internal controls to reduce the risk of errors, omissions and fraud
- Support banking and corporate credit functions
- Support expense management system and policy
- Other duties as assigned including support of company projects
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
10+ years of experience in an accounting role required
Advanced Excel and overall Microsoft Office proficiency
CPA preferred
Proven experience as a business partner to non-finance leaders
Skillset & Core Competencies:
Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting
High attention to detail and accuracy
Leadership & People Management
Adaptability & Organizational excellence with the ability to prioritize competing demands
Hybrid, split of in office and remote
Salary Range:$130,000-$195,000 commensurate with experience

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant.
It may be modified in the fuure.
Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
