Associate, Credit Secondaries

Ares Management is looking for an Associate to join their new Credit Secondaries team in New York. This role involves transaction management, due diligence, and investment decision-making. • Help with due diligence and analysis during the investment process.
• Lead transaction teams and manage junior team members.
• Represent the firm at industry events and meetings.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative credit analysis.
• Organize due diligence materials and develop investment theses.
• Oversee the closing process and legal documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, especially in secondary investments.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
