We are seeking a talented Consultant, Financial Services to join our team of nearly 500 employees. The Consultant for Financial Services supports CCSI’s work with internal and external customers to define their fiscal needs and create actionable deliverables that help them to understand and manage their health and human service program fiscal operations, improve service quality, and create operating efficiency. The individual in this position manages multiple projects and provides excellent customer service in the role as Project Lead or as support to the Project Lead, ensuring customer deliverables are met on time and within this role, you will Assist in the preparation, review and maintenance of provider budgets
Prepare customer budget modifications, budget transfers, budget resolutions, and general ledger maintenance throughout the year.
Assist in maintaining state and grant funding allocations, appropriate supporting documentation, and ensuring allocations comply with funding requirements and program guidelines.
Research state regulations and funding guidance to support compliance and reporting.
Prepare financial analyses, reports, and data summaries to monitor program revenues and expenses, identify trends and variances, and support customer and organizational decision-making.
Assist in monitoring provider compliance with federal, state, county and grant reporting requirements across multiple funding streams.
Participate in the preparation, review, and submission of financial deliverables, including collecting, organizing, validating, and entering financial information.
Support the development and delivery of fiscal training related to CFR reporting and other state financial requirements for providers and customers.
Prepare and review of Consolidated Fiscal Reports (CFRs), provider budgets, quarterly reports, and other required financial submissions.
Support year-end accounting activities, including accruals, journal entries, transfers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Collect, reconcile, and analyze state aid funding information, provider funding schedules, payment advances, and contract data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain tracking systems for provider financial deliverables, state reporting deadlines, funding allocations, and customer deliverables.
Collaborate with internal CCSI departments to improve financial processes, contract management, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencies.
Provide accounting, financial, and analytical support to customers, including responding to inquiries, researching issues, assisting with financial reporting and regulatory compliance, and promoting financial management best practices.
Participate in internal and customer meetings to discuss financial, operational, and programmatic issues, as appropriate.
Develop and maintain financial models, spreadsheets, and dashboards while identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
Assist with special financial projects and process improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
