Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager offers clients complementary primary and secondary investment solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes. They are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Investment Operations team, focusing on private debt asset onboarding and data quality.
Job Responsibilities:- Review and interpret credit agreements, note purchase agreements, and related legal documentation for operational setup.
- Set up new private debt investments within internal systems and downstream platforms.
- Capture and maintain key economic and reference terms for private debt instruments.
- Collaborate with Compliance to review structure charts and maintain legal entity information.
- Leverage Deal Cloud and Alpha Stream for investment onboarding and data maintenance.
- Coordinate with investment professionals and external counter parties to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform quality control reviews of newly onboarded assets and document-driven changes.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures, data standards, and control checklists.
- Work with technology and data teams to improve onboarding workflows and integrations.
- Support reconciliation and remediation efforts across systems.
- Participate in project management and data governance work streams.
- Produce management reporting and metrics related to private debt assets.
- Help train junior team members and offshore resources on document interpretation and setup standards.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment operations or asset data management.
- Direct experience with private debt, bank loans, or note investments.
- Hands-on experience with Deal Cloud, Alpha Stream, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of private debt instrument structures and data attributes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reconciliations.
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000, Plus Bonus
