Company Overview:
A leading multi-family office and wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its team. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive tax compliance and planning services to high-net-worth clients while providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage and review complex individual, fiduciary, not-for-profit, and entity tax filings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.
- Oversee preparation of detailed work papers, data processing, and conversion of information into reviewable work products.
- Conduct and supervise research on complex tax issues, translating findings into actionable tax planning strategies for clients.
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and technical support to promote professional development and service excellence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated family office services and coordinated wealth management support.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and assist in developing long-term strategies aligned with client goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and recommend adjustments in client planning or compliance strategy where appropriate.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance and client reporting.
- Foster a collaborative, professional, and team-oriented work environment that values accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Extensive experience in tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and entities.
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills to guide junior team members.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Ability to manage complex tax filings and develop actionable tax planning strategies.
Salary: $195,000 - $235,000 + Plus Bonus
