Tax Manager

Company Overview:

A leading Wealth Management Firm in the United States is seeking a Tax Manager to deliver comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services. The role emphasizes strategic tax planning and estate planning aligned with client goals, particularly in the oil & gas sector.

• Provide high-quality tax compliance services for individuals, trusts, estates, gifts, foundations, and businesses
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies in alignment with client goals
• Review individual, trust, estate, gift, business entity, and foundation returns
• Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits
• Research Federal, State, and International tax laws and prepare tax memorandums
• Manage client accounts and foster client relationships
• Conduct internal business development and marketing activities
• Provide internal training and manage team members

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, JD, or MS in Tax required
• Active CPA, EA, or state bar license required
• 6+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Extensive experience in Tax Advisory and Gift/Estate/Trust planning and compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
• Experience with reviewing individual, fiduciary, and gift tax returns required
• Preferred experience with CCH Axcess Tax & Bloomberg Income Tax Planner
• Experience with research software and memo writing required

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000, Plus Bonus
