Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Licensed Aesthetician to join our team.

The Licensed Aesthetician is responsible for performing skin and body treatments. The Licensed Aesthetician will consult with clients to assess their needs, make informed recommendations, and explain services, assist them to select appropriate treatments, and ensure their care and satisfaction. The Licensed Aesthetician will maintain knowledge to promote and sell services and retail products.

• Preferred Education: Graduate of accredited Aesthetician program.

  Certifications:
  
  Valid NYS Aesthetician's License.
• Preferred Experience: Previous Medical Spa or skin care experience preferred.
• Special
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic keyboarding and computer skills, ability to multi-task, strong written and oral communication skills. Strong knowledge of cosmetic and skin care products.
• Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Involves sitting, standing, and walking. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs, use of assisting devices or other assistance recommended. Requires normal vision and hearing.

• Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product lines.
• Evaluating a customer's skin condition and offering recommendations for treatments.
• Provide consultations and perform treatments per protocol.
• Exhibit a strong desire to help others and promote the health and wellness benefits of facials while making appropriate recommendations on services, treatments, products, and memberships.
• Manage and maintain spa client schedule.
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment and appearance.
• Practice safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.
• Utilize all aspects of electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with medical providers as appropriate.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior office setting with moderate noise level. Exposure is to the usual medical office hazards and diseases. The practice sees on average 100-130 patients per day.

Maintains patient confidentiality and respect for all individuals in the practice. Conducts work in a team-oriented fashion.
