Salon Color Assistant / Apprentice at Mizu Louis Licari Salon
Job Description
Located in Midtown East, Mizu Louis Licari Salon is looking for a new salon color assistant/apprentice to join our team!
The ideal candidate must hold a NYS cosmetology license, be willing to work in a fast-paced salon environment, and have a passion for the hair industry.
At Mizu, our apprentice training program is offered to all assistants. Learn from our team of master colorists and celebrity stylists in classes and while assisting them on the floor.
Prior apprentices have gone on to brilliant careers working on our salon floor.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Shampooing and blow drying
- Assisting colorists and stylists
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the salon
- Attending to client needs
- Must be able to reliably commute to Midtown East (10022)
- Must hold a valid New York cosmetology license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Prior experience in salons (1 year required)
- Passionate about hair
- Beauty school graduates are also encouraged to apply!
