RN Assistant Manager - West 7 - Complex Care Unit

Highland Hospital of Rochester NY is seeking an RN Assistant Manager for our West 7 General Medicine/Surgical Complex Care Unit, partnering with UR Medicine Complex Care Center to provide specialized care for patients with Sickle Cell Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, and other complex health conditions.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager (Level IV), you will:

• Provide professional nursing services and lead nursing staff.
• Manage operational processes and collaborate with other healthcare providers to achieve patient and organizational outcomes.
• Utilize nursing process, leadership, management theory, and evidence‑based practice to coordinate direct care and services.
• Perform responsibilities across five core performance domains:
  Clinical Practice, Service Excellence, Professional Development & Communication, Research & Evidence-Based Practice, and Organization Contributions & Growth.
• Support human resources, recruitment and retention strategies, and monitor patient and operational outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years recent RN experience in an acute care setting.
• BS in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).

Compensation:
Pay Range: $94,130.40 - $ (base salary will be set within this range based on market data, experience, and qualifications).
