Retail Pharmacist – Per Diem – Nuvem Rx. Rochester, NY.

Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a compassionate, patient‑centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. The role is for a per‑day pharmacist at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Rochester, NY, Monday‑Friday 9‑5 p.m. Responsibilities include engaging with clinic providers and their staff, providing drug‑related education, and acting as a member of the patient care team.

You are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care—from advising on prescriptions to treating chronic and specialty conditions—and for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading and directing pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Manage staff pharmacists and technicians, addressing knowledge gaps through education and training.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with Patient Safety, Pharmacy Professional Practice, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Personnel Management, Inventory Management, Financial Profitability, Loss Prevention, and Workflow Management.
• Keep abreast of HIPAA and Fraud, Waste and Abuse credentialing.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and local facility policies.

• Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations.
• Bachelor of Science or Pharm
  
  D in Pharmacy from an accredited university.

• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting; 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required.
• 3 years related pharmacy experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional patient service skills.

• Standing for long periods.
• Fine motor skills—repetitive hand motions via keyboard/phone.
• Ability to hear, write, and speak effectively.

• Monday‑Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (hours may change as needed).
• No major holidays.
• No weekends.
