Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
Oversees and optimizes clinical and precepting scheduling for over 105 providers across eight suites and two outpatient sites. This position is responsible for managing vacation requests, maintaining call schedules, and ensuring effective operational workflows and assists in training new employees. The Clinical Support Specialist generates reports to support operational initiatives, practice performance improvements, and scheduling optimization while adhering to Highland Health’s ICARE values.
This role requires self-direction, complex decision-making, and collaborative support to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care delivery.
- Liaison to Practice Administration, staff scheduling, and Cadance staff for HFM provider scheduling issues
- Balance practice schedule factoring provider availability, suite loading, and staff availability
- Data analysis and reporting to support operations and quality initiatives.
- Manage Scheduling for Provider and Practice Coverage for HFM.
- Cadence scheduling management for all HFM providers.
- Supports operational efforts for improved performance, new initiatives.

Salary Range$19.50 - $25.30 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

- Education:
Associates degree preferred. Formal classes for registration and scheduling, master scheduling. - Experience:
2-3 years in professional office environment preferably with Cadence and scheduling experience. - Computer experience; knowledge of large practice operations, preferably in a residency-training program; medical terminology; understanding of productivity standards and quality assurance activities.
- License/Certification:
Preferred Notary. - Skills:
Computer experience in MS Word and Excel: excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
Cadence and; touch typing ability.
