This is a full-time, on-site position for an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Woodside Manor Nursing Home in the Rochester, New York Metropolitan Area. The role involves assisting with the implementation of therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, delivering quality rehabilitation services, and contributing to the progress of residents’ care plans. Responsibilities include supporting daily patient care activities, aiding residents in regaining or improving their ability to perform daily tasks, and assisting with program development to address individual needs effectively.

• Practical skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation
• Experience in Patient Care and ensuring comfort and safety during therapy sessions
• Knowledge or involvement in Program Development tailored to individual care plans
• Familiarity with long term care and short term rehab
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Licensure in the state of New York
• Previous experience in a nursing home or similar environment is a plus
