Priority Cares Home Services LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Services (PCS) Aides to provide essential care and assistance to clients in their homes. PCS Aides are responsible for supporting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote their safety, comfort, and independence.

• Personal Care
  • Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Support clients with dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
  • Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Companionship
  • Provide social and emotional support to enhance client well‑being.
  • Engage clients in conversation and light activities to promote mental stimulation.
• Safety & Observation
  • Monitor clients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the supervising RN.
  • Ensure a safe home environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
• Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  • Follow infection control procedures and adhere to company policies and NYS DOH guidelines.

• Certification:
  Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate or equivalent training (preferred).
• Experience:
  
  Previous home care or personal care experience preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of infection control practices.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stretching required for care duties.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Annual physical and TB test as required by NYS regulations.
  • CPR certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
