Overview
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors? Professional Assistance for Seniors (PAS) is expanding our team, and we have part-time positions available in the greater Rochester, NY area. PAS' mission is to empower seniors and individuals with conditions like Alzheimer's, dementia, arthritis, and diabetes to continue living comfortably in their own homes.
Our highly trained staff is committed to delivering quality services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Preparing and serving normal/therapeutic diets
- Assisting with bathing, personal care, and dressing
- Monitoring changes in client's mental and physical conditions
- Light housekeeping
- Assist clients with self-administered medications
- Take, record and monitor temperature, pulse, respiration, intake/output
- Additional functions permissible under special circumstances
- Maintain and protect client confidentiality
- Successful completion of a NYS DOH approved Personal Care Aide or Home Health Aide training program as demonstrated by a valid Certificate
- Ability to speak, read and write in English sufficiently to understand and interpret the HHA Plan of Care, document care provided, and able to call the office staff to report any change and/or issues.
- Must be reliable and compassionate
- Must have current driver's license, reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance
- Experience preferred
- Successfully complete a DMV check, fingerprinting and pre-employment physical
- Must be able to travel throughout Monroe County (Gates, Greece, Chili, Brockport, Spencerport, Webster, Penfield, Fairport, Irondequoit, Hamlin)
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach

Pay: $18.65 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
