Rochester is hiring a Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk in Rochester, NY!
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to support both our Central Supply and Medical Records departments. This dual-role position is vital to maintaining the efficiency, organization, and compliance of our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities include:Central Supply Duties:
- Stock nursing stations with appropriate supplies
- Manage and track inventory across stock rooms, nursing units, and supply areas
- Place and unpack facility-wide supply orders
- Organize and maintain central supply storage and office areas
- Assist with room changes and general supply logistics
- Maintain cleanliness and order in supply spaces
- Compile, organize, and maintain accurate medical records for all residents
- Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of resident information
- Maintain and update electronic health record databases
- Audit and thin charts regularly to ensure compliance
- Schedule appointments and assist with administrative medical documentation
- Release information to authorized personnel/agencies in accordance with regulations
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical aspects of supply stocking
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Weekend and holiday availability as needed
