In this role, your core responsibilities center on delivering high-quality radiographic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You’ll prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, select appropriate imaging parameters, and operate radiography equipment with precision. You’ll conduct image acquisition, perform routine and complex imaging studies, and verify images meet diagnostic standards before they’re transmitted to radiologists for interpretation. You’ll assist with safety protocols, especially radiation protection for patients and staff, monitor equipment performance, and report any malfunctions promptly.
You’ll participate in quality control tasks, document procedures accurately, and maintain meticulous patient records. Collaborative communication with radiologists, nurses, and support staff will be essential to coordinate care, troubleshoot challenges, and optimize workflow. The compensation package reflects your expertise and the value you bring to the team. You’ll receive a competitive weekly pay range of $3,080 to $3,215, with the understanding that hours may vary and guaranteed hours are not specified at this time.
