- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm EST
- Shift Duration: 8 hours per shift; 40 hours per week

- Holidays: As needed per unit requirements
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,260 - $2,430 per week
- Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) — MRI/Radiography
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License (must be obtained prior to start if not already held)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including at least 6 months of pediatric MRI experience
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or high-acuity hospital setting
- Proven experience operating Siemens MRI scanners
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to stand for extended periods during imaging procedures
- Perform safe and efficient MRI exams for pediatric patients (neonates through age 18) following established pediatric imaging protocols
- Operate and maintain Siemens MRI equipment, ensuring image quality and scanner safety
- Screen and prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining techniques and ensuring comfort for children and families
- Coordinate with radiologists, pediatricians, and anesthesia teams when sedation or anesthesia is required
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records while protecting patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Adhere to MRI safety policies and identify contraindications prior to scanning
- Adjust scanning parameters to accommodate a range of patient ages and clinical indications
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment and assist with inventory and equipment maintenance
