Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The role involves providing care to patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDS, post MI, and those requiring cardiac pharmacological interventions. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and respiratory care.

Responsibilities:

- Patient assessments
- Medication administration
- Treatment planning
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
- Peripheral line care and management
- Nasal cannula and oxygen face mask administration
- Portable oxygen tank management
- Non-invasive airway management
- Adherence to isolation precautions
- Cardiac Monitoring
- Emergency response

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active New York Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility
