Job Description

Title:

Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Schedule:

- 40 or 48 hours/week
- Blocked weeknights
- No weekends
- No call
- 48 hours: 7 PM - 7 AM
- 40 hours: 9 PM - 7 AM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed

Hours:

40 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:
- New York RN license
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- 2 years of Registered Nursing experience
- 2 years of Med-Surg experience
- Telemetry experience required

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery care for patients in a fast-paced interventional radiology department.
- Monitor patients during overnight observation following procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist with care for patients undergoing various imaging modalities, including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and team members.
- Utilize critical thinking skills in patient assessment and care planning.
