Respiratory Therapist

Tallavera is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join a specialized 20-bed ventilator unit in Williamsville, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a focused clinical setting providing advanced respiratory care to residents who truly benefit from your expertise.

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to residents with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including ventilator-dependent individuals. In this role, you will assess and treat residents, collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and initiate ventilator weaning and respiratory rehabilitation in accordance with physician orders. The RT ensures accurate and timely documentation, actively participates in care plan meetings, and educates residents and their families regarding treatment plans to promote optimal outcomes and quality of life.

• NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist with RRT or CRT credential
• Ventilator experience preferred; interest in chronic vent, weaning, and respiratory rehab
